Melody Road

There is many roads called melody road or melody lines in Japan. When you drive on those roads with certain speed, you can hear music from the road.

There are grooves at certain intervals on the surface of the road and the friction with the groove and a tyre makes sound. When you drive too fast, then the music also sounds like fast-forwarding.

The melody roads can prevent people from falling asleep at the wheel and restrain a speed excess because people want to listen to the music!!

Some people go visit those places just only for listening to the music.
