We change tires in winter for snow

I don’t know about your country; though we change tires in winter especially in areas where get snow. To avoid slipping due to snow and/or ice, we use special tires called snow tires.

Unfortunately some places which get snow sometimes only don’t have snowplow cars, so people usually have to drive on ice and/or snow until it melts. As you can imagine roads can be dangerous.

That’s why people have snow tires and change to them in winter. It’s funny that many people living in less snow areas don’t change tires soon, so when a weather forecast expects snowing, they run to stores (I mean stores which change tires) at once and have to wait for their turn for couple hours! They really should get tires changed in the beginning of winter and they won’t have to wait so long.
