Be healthy with seven herb rice porridge

“Nanakusagayu” – it’s seven herb rice porridge people eat in the morning of January 7th.
It’s believed that by eating rice porridge with the seven herbs in which the vitality of spring dwells would drive off evil and protect one from various illnesses.

The herbs are these: water dropwort, shepherd’s purse, cudweed, chickweed, henbit, turnip, and daikon radish.


It sounds like the taste would be complicated due to having seven herbs. However the taste is good actually.
