There is a square watermelon cultivated in Kagawa, Japan.

This does not grow up into a quadrangle naturally.This is fitted in the molder's flask of the reinforced plastic from the middle of the growth and is formed artificially.

Because this watermelon lacks in sweetness, it does not seem to be an edible direction. Thus, it seems to be produced as admiration use and a present mainly.
